My mother ended up in the ICU with severe pneumonia so I'm back in Newfoundland for a while. Her good friends have been taking care of things until I could get here and I'm very, very thankful for all they've done. Mom's prognosis appears good at the moment and I should know more soon.
The journey will hopefully continue at a later date.

Hey, Rob, sorry to hear about your Mom. Will send positive thoughts your way for her recovery. Have been enjoying your blog tremendously (and jealously -- the Cornwall-Devon area is one of my favourite places and I visited John O'Groats a number of years ago). Sorry to hear about her pneumonia but hope she's feeling better and that you'll be able to continue your travels again soon. Enjoy the blog tremendously.
